attributes in Age of Conan
Like many games, Age of Conan allows you to improve your character, whether through buffs or equipment. The calculator allows you to learn more about certain attributes whose values are known.
what are the computable attributes?
constitution
Constitution increases total health and stamina, as well as health and stamina regeneration rate. Each constitution point gives the following bonuses :
- +8 life points
- +2 endurance
- +0,05 natural regeneration of stamina (0.0125 stamina/second)
- +0,15 out-of-combat stamina regeneration
- +0,15 out-of-combat health regeneration
dexterity
Dexterity increases dagger and ranged weapon damage, chance to dodge attacks, total stamina, and stamina regeneration rate. Each point of dexterity gives the following bonuses :
- +0,5 chance of avoidance
- +2 endurance
- +3 of combat value with ranged weapons and daggers
- +0,05 natural stamina regeneration (0.0125 stamina/second)
- +0,15 out-of-combat stamina regeneration
ferocity
Ferocity affects attack radius, maximum number of targets, angle of attack cones, distance of attack columns, and splash damage.
- +1 ferocity equals 0.15% ferocity.
strength
Strength increases the attack value for melee weapons (except daggers), weapon, total stamina and its regeneration rate. Each strength point gives the following bonuses :
- +3 combat value when using melee weapons (except daggers)
- +2 of armor
- +0,05 natural stamina regeneration (0.0125 stamina per second)
- +0,15 out-of-combat stamina regeneration
- +2 endurance
- +0,15 out-of-combat health regeneration
intelligence
Intelligence increases the total mana, protection against fire, electricity and cold damage, mana regeneration speed and spell damage of a mage (demonologist, herald of Xotli or necromancer). Each intelligence point gives the following bonuses :
- +0,6 spell damage for spells
- +3 of mana
- +0,07 natural mana regeneration (0.0175 mana/second)
- +0,38 mana regeneration
- +0,5 protection against electric/fire/cold magic
wisdom
Wisdom increases the total mana, protection from holy and unholy damage, mana regeneration rate, and spell damage of a priest (Bear Shaman, Bane of Set, or Priest of Mitra). Each point of wisdom gives the following bonuses :
- +0,6 spell damage
- +3 of mana
- +0,07 natural mana regeneration (0.0175 mana/second)
- +0,38 mana regeneration
- +0,5 protection against sacred/unholy magic
combat value
Combat value increases melee DPS and is gained through strength, dexterity, armor, weapons, buffs, and potions. Strength gives combat value and higher DPS to all melee classes except assassins and rangers, as they get their combat value through dexterity.
- +1 of strength increases the combat value of melee weapons (except daggers) by 3
- +1 of dexterity increases combat rating with ranged weapons and daggers by 3
12 strength or 36 combat value equals approximately 1 DPS.
