festival of bloodshed
Since the 6th anniversary of Age of Conan, Funcom has been offering the recurring event “ festival of bloodshed ”. It is therefore every third Wednesday of the month that the Pictish gods Gullah and Jhil shed blood in a dedicated area, and this, for a week on the Fury server, but also on Crom.
Fury being the quintessential PvP server, most areas of the game will, at one point or another, see their lands watered by blood. Crom, on the other hand, only offers the areas dedicated to PvP, the border kingdoms.

the different parts of the event
fields of carnage
Each area has several “ fields of carnage ”, represented by a red flag, which must be conquered and held until the time runs out (30s), thus giving points to a team of 6 maximum players. Solo players are not left out since this event is also open to them. After several rounds, the team with the most points will become the “ king of the hill ”!
arenas of death
Death Arenas, represented by a blue flag, are made up of two separate events : a solo deathmatch and a team deathmatch. Each festival location includes two different arenas that host these events. The rules are simple: the player or team with the most kills wins the game. Deaths are counted even if players attempt to flee. Winners are determined based on their archetype, and second and third place players also receive rewards. Arenas of Death are open to all participants.
Gullah's chosen
The last festival of bloodshed event is the “ chosen of Gullah ”, which functions similarly to juggernaut or predator modes in other games. A random active player in the area will receive a powerful boost that will turn them into a player-controlled boss, increasing their stats. For a limited time of 3 minutes or until death, this player will accumulate points by killing other players in PvP. The boost effect does not transfer to those who kill the chosen one, but it does move to another active player when the effect expires. The player with the highest score at the end of the event will be declared the winner and their name will be broadcast.
quests and rewards
The festival of bloodshed offers a variety of quests and rewards for players who participate in PvP events. Rewards include significant PvP progression upgrades, armor sets, weapons, accessories, and social items. Additionally, victorious players will accumulate Victory Tokens which will unlock unique vanity rewards.
